Outboard Covers and Accessories has extended its relationship with Suzuki to supply outboard covers to the company in the US.

The company has signed a supply contract with Suzuki Motor of America giving customers the opportunity to buy a made to measure cover for their outboards.

“This contract represents a major development of our business in the USA and we are delighted to be working with such a progressive company,” explained James Abrahams, joint MD of OCA. “Our relationship with Suzuki globally is growing stronger and stronger and we are looking forward to introducing our products to their customers.”

He added: “We’ve been working hard to expand our business into the USA. It’s taken a couple of years, but we’ve got there in the end.”

Upsell

The company currently supplies covers to Mercury, Suzuki and Yamaha offering dealers the opportunity to upsell and offer an extra accessory.

“OCA’s global reputation of quality and customer service speaks for itself and we are pleased to bring these covers to the US market and expand our product offering to our Suzuki dealers and owners alike,” added Ben Cleveland, marine accessories sales specialist, Suzuki Motor of America.

Covers can be left in place while the engine is being run, helping to protect the cowling. Heated covers are available allowing engines to be run in places as cold as the Arctic or Antarctic.
