Triple outboard launch for Suzuki GB
Suzuki GB has launched three new outboard models to its range in the UK which individually focus on lightest in class, battery-less fuel injection and high energy rotation.
“We are excited about introducing these new models to further enhance the choice that our customers have when looking to power their boats with Suzuki,” said George Cheeseman, head of marine for Suzuki GB.
With the DF100B, Suzuki has focused on the important mid-range sector and set out to create the lightest 100hp four stroke outboard available in its class.
At 157kg, the new DF100B is 25kg lighter than the existing DF100A. It’s based on Suzuki’s 1502cc engine unit but has an up-rated the ECM and an added water detection fuel filter.
The DF9.9B is the only four stroke outboard under ten horsepower to benefit from a lightweight battery-less electronic fuel injection for quicker starts, smoother operation and greater acceleration.
High energy rotation
The new DF60AVTL benefits from a specially engineered lower unit incorporating a 2.42:1 gear ratio which means it can turn a larger 35.6cm (14in) propeller making it a suitable choice for powering large, heavy craft.
