According to a report in SuperyachtNews the 134m Fincantieri built, Serene, has run aground in the Red Sea, 20 nautical miles east of the Egyptian holiday resort, Sharm El Sheikh.
The vessel is said to be bow-up on the rocks and has sustained structural damage to the bulb, bow and hull.
It is thought the cause is a navigational track error and propulsion failure.
