With the ultra-wealthy in constant demand of bigger and better experiences onboard their superyachts, Solarglide has decided to launch a selection of blinds and curtains under a new label - Pearl Pacific.

Initially there will be five ranges - aluminium venetian blinds, wooden venetian blinds, luxury curtains and accessories, faux leather venetian blinds and real leather venetian blinds with plans to extend this on demand and as the company progresses into the future.

“We felt there was a big demand for a company like Pearl Pacific,” explained Solarglide marketing manager Dale Parker. Pearl Pacific is a new venture for the business. It’s a brand with a vision to provide superyacht owners and operators in the marine sector with interior window coverings that are carefully crafted and tailored to the owner and crews’ needs.”

And Dale explained how there are more possibilities coming out of the superyacht sector all the time.

“There seems to be a rather growing trend for superyachts being built or setting sail to remote locations,” he said. “To places like Antartica, which has seen a rise in ice breaking hulls and specialised interior fit outs.

“We believe a key part of the build is integration between the exterior and the interior. As the pursuit of luxury continues to reach even higher demands, we at Pearl Pacific believe in luxury without limits.”

And Dale explained that fabrics can be printed to order if a customer wants a specific design or logo with the curtains hand sewn on site.

“Superyachts are complex builds and provide a unique experience as they are all custom built.”
