J Boats and Grand Soleil sign up for LBS
The new J/111 is J Boats' fastest selling planing one design
LBS: Sailing boat builders J Boats and Grand Soleil are the latest to confirm taking space at the Albert Docks through Key Yachting, says the Liverpool Boat Show organising company, Marine Industry Events.
The J Boat revolution originated in the US and is now synonymous with high performance cruiser-racer boats. Grand Soleil yachts add the performance to Italian style.
The new J/111, 36ft racing yacht is the fastest ever selling planing international one-design launched by J Boats. The boat has already been named by the US Sailing World Magazine's 'Best One Design Keelboat for 2011'.
The Grand Soleil 45 performance cruiser, one of the most popular models of all time from this European manufacturer will also be on display. The boat is, says Key Yachting, a modern classic with sleek lines, clear decks and uncluttered cockpit.
J Boats is renowned the world over for its busy one-design regatta circuit and this year the Liverpool Boat Show Regatta will be added to the company’s competition diary. J/80 Sportsboats will be amongst 150 entries for the largest sailing regatta to hit the River Mersey in over 80 years.
