LEISURE SHOW: Next year' s British Leisure Show  has already attracted a very impressive display of exhibitors, says MD James Brooke, and is certainly ' incorporating the fastest growing new boat show' in the country.

The Boats & Watersports Zone, which takes up and area that would, says Mr Brooke, almost fill one of the halls at ExCeL, has a list of confirmed exhbitors that includes Abersoch Land & Sea, E P Barrus, Bates Wharf Marine Sales, Bray Lake Watersports, Bushnells Marine, Clipper Marine and Cornish Crabbers.

The list continues with Datchet Watersports, Dolphin Boats, Gibbs Marine, Heyland Marine, Hobie Cat Sport, Ice Marine, the Inland Waterways Association, Lindon Lewis Marine, Purple Marine, River Thames Society, Sailtime, Seamark Marine, Tingdene Marinas and Voyager Canoes.

Other major brands at the show include Aston Martin, Jaguar, Land Rover, Morgan and Rolls Royce.

'We recently announced our support for the Alexander Devine Children’s Cancer Trust,' said Mr Brooke. 'The ADCCT aims to develop a Children’s Hospice service in the Berkshire area and I was pleased to celebrate our support for the charity at Wentworth Golf Club with Fiona Devine and patron, Sir Michael Parkinson CBE.

This show is a significant new event in the marine calendar, as it provides companies with a low-cost option for meeting new customers in an affluent and popular boating area.
