Craig Bowie joins Ultimate Sails
Craig Bowie has been appointed race division manager at Ultimate Sails to continue to provide a high level of customer service whilst meeting the needs of their growing market.
Mr Bowie is well known within the sailing fraternity. He began his career in the marine industry over 12 years ago as sailmaker and loft supervisor of the North Sails service loft where he was responsible for servicing the America’s Cup teams, superyachts and the Olympic teams.
He has spent the last few years furthering his own sailing career taking roles on board high profile racing teams as part of the sail program group. He has been involved with teams such as GBR Challenge, B and Q, Estrella Damm, Artemis, and Alfa Romeo. His core strengths are in management and communication, starting a project and seeing it through to completion.
Mr Bowie will be based at Ultimate’s headquarters in Hamble. Part of his role will include coaching and giving talks on race crew management.
