Chemring Marine’s Pyro Girls did all 20 miles of the Breast Cancer Care walk in May, raising over two grand – congratulations, girls. Portsmouth Poll says she’s proud of you all…

CHARITY WALK: Chemring Marine’s Pyro Girls completed the 20 mile walk for Breast Cancer Care on May 8 in seven hours, rewarding themselves with a large glass of bubbly at the finish line, which they crossed to the sound of the band playing ‘When the saints go marching in’ (Chemring Marine MD Justine Heeley apologises to Pompey fans for that).

She also says the weather wasn’t the best it might have been: ‘It was freezing, it rained, it blew, there were hills, moans, cries, falls, chocolate and music! But nothing would dampen our spirits and somehow we did it and raised over £2,000 for Breast Cancer Care.’

Portsmouth Poll says she’s proud of you all, but she still doesn't care much for the song…
