White brothers to team up in WMS

David and Peter White have teamed up to form White Marine Services. The partner - ship has obtained the agency for Hyde Sails on the East Coast from the Humber to the Medway.
Peter was at the top of the dinghy racing scene throughout the 70s, 80s and 90s during which time he won the 505 world championship and produced a multitude of championship-winning sails for one-design classes.
David started Z Spars UK in 1978 and recently took early retirement at the end of 2005 to set up with Peter.
With both currently being active in the Squib class, it is hoped that the Hyde brand will re-establish itself at the top of the fleet and there are indications that Peter's new designs of sails will prove successful in this class and many others. Squib spars and rigging will also be manufactured by the duo and White Marine Services has also signed up with mamut tec Ltd of Switzerland to import its Paraloc range of yacht ropes.
