The boom in the popularity of water sports since the Covid-19 lockdowns has led to a rise in marine incidents.

The Marine Casualty Investigation Board (MCIB) has made a raft of safety recommendations following its analysis of an incident involving six kayakers on Mulroy Bay, Co. Donegal.
