Båtsystem aids safe boarding
C-Quip launched the Båtsystem range of deck hardware to the UK at this year’s Southampton International Boat Show.
The Swedish manufacturer’s products include those for boarding and disembarking on and off a boat such as ladders, bathing platforms – for bow and stern – davits and those for anchoring.
“With the right equipment onboard, boating can be even more fun and safe,” explained C-Quip MD Ian Cooke.
“Båtsystem is a leading specialist in creating solutions for comfortable and safe boarding and disembarking for crew, equipment and even pets.”
Båtsystem davits are available in several different models. The removable products are strong enough to hold up to 150kg each.
A hinged mounting on the transom allows a dinghy to move forward when hoisted and aft when lowered.
Boarding is easier and there is a better weight distribution while the dinghy is hoisted pointed out Ian.
Short ropes avoid sideways movements when the dinghy is launched.
The ladders can be used from the stern, bow or from the side of a boat and telescopic ladders are also available.
Cranes to facilitate the handling of an outboard engine, shopping or other heavy equipment are also part of Båtsystem’s deck hardware range.
The products are made from quality acid-proof AiSi 316 stainless steel that has been hand polished.
