Rutgerson Marin launches new products
Rutgerson Marin has launched four new ROC block products, plus rings, a batten receptacle and battcar tester.
The ROC block strong roller bearing block in aluminium is now available in two sizes, 80 and 100. The ROC block becket is a centre piece which allows the hub to be used as becket, the ROC block ball joint stand-up is believed to be the lowest stand-up solution on the market and the spring stand-up is a stand-up kit for ROC block 80/100 and similar blocks.
A new assortment of low friction rings come in four sizes and are made of high strength aluminium for durability. Low friction rings provide a good alternative to plain bearing blocks in most applications where the line movements are minimal and the loads are high.
The 1622 is the latest addition to Rutgerson’s batten receptacle range, and the largest so far – suitable for boats up to 90ft monohull and 80ft multihull. It has a push-button function so no tools are required to open the lid. The batten tensioning can be adjusted up to 70mm and the lid has an indicator to show the ultimate trim.
A new version of the battcar tester 1530 is designed as a single plate and used to determine which battcar fits the boat owner’s mast. It is made of durable plastic and comes in an octagonal shape that includes all the different references in the Rutgerson battcar assortment. The plate can be threaded through a small hole in the middle.
