TMS sees upturn in renewables in 2019
Now in its fifth year of trading, Technical Marine Supplies has seen many new distribution opportunities arise, with manufacturers such as Simarine, Uniteck, iWinch, William Hackett chain, Uflex, Siren Marine, SpeedSix and Quick UK all choosing the company in 2019.
The company has seen a strong upturn in its renewables sector, with Watt & Sea, Silentwind and Uniteck all seeing the benefit of this.
“Being able to offer products from Simarine as well really ties the complete system together, giving boat owners an instant visual understanding of their energy systems,” explained sales manager Nick Cook.
The company has also seen an increase in demand from European customers for its Hamma hardware products with worldwide distribution expansion of these products planned.
During 2019, TMS has also been accredited by the BSSA (British Stainless-Steel Association).
After working alongside the manufacturing and design teams of Hamma for the last six years, TMS can ensure Hamma stainless steel products meet the high standards required of the marine industry.
To accommodate the company’s growth plan, TMS has invested in computer software to help maximise efficiency, coupled with new warehousing space which offers an extra 3000sq.ft, an expansion on the existing 1500sq.ft of warehouse space and 600sq.ft of office suites.
