Astus model launched
Astusboats has launched the Trimaran Astus 20.5 vessel with a streamlined hull and 930-litre retractable floats for stable performance.
Designed with the VPLP Design Agency, the Trimaran is available as a leisure model for family sailing and a sports model with a vacuum system central hull for regatta sailors.
The personalisable 20.5 is modelled on the 20.2, economical, with minimal maintenance required.
Transportable on its specially adapted trailer, the vessel is is designed to be easy to rig and handle and has a “tulipped” hull for effective spray deflection.
The 20.5 will be on show at “boot” in Düsseldorf at the beginning of next year and will be on sale from January 2018.
Over 120 versions of the 20.2 have been sold to date.
The 16.5 model was launched two years ago in partnership with VPLP naval architects.
