BM Expo to host Supply Chain Conference
Returning after a four year absence, the Supply Chain Conference will be hosted on the first day of the inaugural British Marine Expo.
Delegates will hear how companies of all sizes can grow their businesses and adapt to the modern challenges facing the future of the UK’s marine supply chain.
“Conference delegates will get important advice, inspiration and the latest thinking on burning issues for the sector,” said BM chief executive, Lesley Robinson.
“These include recommendations on preparing for Brexit, protecting the future of your business and increasing innovation within design and production.”
Experts will provide clarity on ensuring businesses are protected, including an insight into how companies can make sure their business systems are sufficiently robust to reduce their level of risk. Warranties and guarantees and who in the supply chain is responsible to the customer when a component fails will also be discussed.
Headlining the conference will be Chris Aylett, chief executive of the Motorsports Industry Association with appearances by key figures from the marine and maritime sectors and the government. Representatives from KPMG, Verisona, IMSM, GAC Pindar, Innovate UK and PKF Francis Clarke guide delegates in discussions on how to develop and shape the future of the UK’s marine supply chain.
