BMYS makes its mark in the UK
With seven boat model debuts, a 65-boat exhibition and showing 18 of the world's most well-known motorboat brands - the 2019 British Motor Yacht Show has made its mark in the UK boat show calendar.
Backed by British luxury motor yacht brands Fairline, Sunseeker and Princess in partnership with Premier Marinas, the show took place at Swanwick Marina.
An addition to this year’s show was the presence of overseas brands including Agapi, Axopar, Azimut, Bavaria, Brabus, Chris Craft, Greenline, Hinckley, Invictus, Jeanneau, Nordhavn, Prestige, Sealine as well as Williams Ribs and Highfield Ribs.
“Now in its seventh year, the interest and atmosphere at the show was off the scale compared to all the previous years,” said Richard Bates, Fairline MD.
Among the boats on show was the R35 from Princess Motor Yacht Sales powered by V8 engines and capable of reaching 50 knots.
“The show was bigger and better attended than ever and we are very happy with the business generated and the superb atmosphere enjoyed by all exhibitors and visitors,” said Princess Motor Yacht Sales sales director, Roger Lipman.
Sunseeker Southampton also impressed visitors with 14 Sunseekers on display.
Spencer Brown, sales director of Sunseeker Poole said: “The British Motor Yacht Show has become an integral part of the annual boating calendar and this year has shown a welcomed and marked uplift of success.”
