Pearl on show at Düsseldorf
UK based shipyard, Pearl Yachts, will show its Pearl 80 model at Düsseldorf 2019, a collaboration between interior designer Kelly Hoppen MBE and naval architect Bill Dixon.
The 24m yacht, originally introduced to the European market earlier this year, has a 6m beam, four cabins and comes with a jet ski garage and hydraulic bathing platform.
The exterior construction is vacuum-infused glass-reinforced plastic with a white gel coat finish whilst the interior comes in three alternative themes, ‘Studio’, ‘Taupe’ and ‘Luxury’.
“The design is traditional yet contemporary,” said Kelly. “Clean lines and neutral hues enhance the overall space creating a sense of effortless style.
“I am delighted to collaborate with Pearl Yachts once again and proud to be part of creating a design that I believe will stand the test of time.”
Pearl Yachts has adapted the full beam saloons so that space is dedicated to a lounge area. “In most boats of this size the saloon is dominated by a large dining area but we found our clients rarely ate there,” explained Pearl Yachts’ MD, Iain Smallridge.
With speeds of up to 35 knots, the yacht is equipped with two CAT C18 – 1150hp engines. There is an alternative option of two MAN V12-1800 engines with V-drives.
