More than 130 boats at Scotland’s Boat Show
Scotland’s Boat Show will feature more than 130 vessels including new boats from Hanse, Dehler and Moody.
Pre-owned boats for a variety of interests and budgets will be on display at Kip Marina on 12-14 October, alongside the first ever Clipper Round The World race yacht Taeping.
Gavin McDonagh, managing director of Scotland’s Boat Show, said: “If you are interested in buying a boat, Roseann and the team at Michael Schmidt & Partners, together with our many other Marine Exhibitors, have an impressive range of vessels for sale so please take your time and discover what is on offer.”
RYA Scotland’s free ‘Taster Sessions’ allow visitors to try out sailing yachts, motor yachts, RIB driving and dinghy sailing. The RYA Scotland Marine Pavilion will also offer an exhibition of the latest boating equipment and trends.
Visitors can experience an F1 Powerboat Experience with the Gordon Cook Racing Team and helicopter flights with Heli Scot and Adventure001.
Boat owner associations will be on hand to offer advice, while free talks presented by the Cruising Association will address issues including shorthanded cruising techniques, the importance of surface preparation, fitting solar power to your boat, preventing diesel bug and looking after boat ropes.
New for 2018 is the Birds of Prey & Primal Bushcraft Area, where visitors can meet and handle birds of prey with KG Hawks and learn to survive in the wild.
