Another record for METSTRADE
A record 1,600 companies from 50 countries will exhibit at METSTRADE 2018.
The show – which started in 1988 – has grown year on year with several areas enlarged for this year.
Among these are the Construction Material Pavilion that is fully booked with 60 companies exhibiting and the Superyacht Pavilion that was sold out more than six months in advance with around 10% new exhibitors.
The SYP has proved so successful that exhibition organisers RAI Amsterdam have added an extra hall.
“The waiting list of highly qualified exhibitors for the SuperYacht Pavilion at METSTRADE 2018 was larger than ever,” explained Irene Dros, maritime director at exhibition organisers RAI Amsterdam.
Another expanded feature is the E-nnovationLAB platform, first introduced in 2017.
“The growing demand for hybrid and electric engines is becoming ever-more apparent within the leisure marine market,” Irene added.
This year’s E-nnovationLAB will occupy an even more prominent position in Hall 7, where it will host Danfoss Mobile Electrification and Transfluid amongst others.
In addition, this year Denmark will have its own country pavilion for the first time.
“The leisure marine sector seems to be going from strength to strength currently and this is reflected in the exceptional attendance at this year’s event, where we are hosting a record number of nearly 1,600 exhibitors from 50 countries.”
The show takes place from November 13 – 15.
