The highlight of Kingfisher Yacht Ropes new products to be shown at METSTRADE is its Racing Dyneema99 Pro Halyard.

The new rope is designed for halyards on racing yachts. Its core is made from Dyneema SK99 fibre that is strong and low in stretch.

It also has a hybrid technical cover for holding power in jammers.

The company will also show additions to its evolution dinghy range including a redeveloped evolution breeze for control lines.

“The re-worked product now has Dyneema fibre added to the current Technora and polyester blend, producing a rope with even greater abrasion resistance,” explained Nigel Saddington, group partner.

“We have also improved the construction to make the product even easier to splice.”

New products in this range include the evolution Flex and evolution dinghy line.

The Flex is designed for lightweight dinghy sheets and the dinghy line is for OEM line for control lines.

The company is also due to launch a new website during November, that will be more informative for trade customers with more technical information.

“We have designed our new website so our trade customers can support their retail customers in a better way, hopefully increasing sales of our products throughout chandleries and riggers across the world,” added Nigel.
