New Mara Buoy has a 10-tonne breaking load
Hydrosphere UK will be showing the latest Mara Buoys among its other ranges at Seawork 2019.
The company is responsible for the bulk of Mara Buoys sales in the UK and has now made it possible for single purchases of its new buoy via its on-line shop.
The new Mara Buoy 10:75S has a 10-tonne breaking load and nominally sits 75cm above the water. It is one of the ‘static’ range of buoys and is aimed at small to medium sized boats having been re-engineered to make the price accessible for leisure users.
Like all Mara Buoys, it is developed to be long lasting with the lifetime cost often working out cheaper than a conventional mooring system.
“I am proud of this new design,” said director George Smith. “Based on customer feedback and the experience we have gained to date with the larger Mara Buoys, we have pared down the Mara Buoy concept to an elegant simplicity with the design of the MB10:75S.
“It also still retains the great features of deck level mooring, safety, ease of use and the longevity of the larger buoys. Re-engineering the design has allowed us to reduce our costs, passing a considerable saving onto our customers.”
The MB10:75S is available in blue, yellow, orange and white.
Hydrosphere UK will be on stand PY69 at Seawork.
