Seawork International 2018 moves to new dates
Europe’s largest commercial marine and workboat exhibition, Seawork International will move to new dates in 2018, driven by a combination of spring tides on the previously favoured dates in June and a busy calendar of events for the commercial marine industry sector next summer.
“It’s exciting to be approaching the 21st anniversary of Seawork International,” said Andrew Webster, CEO of event organiser Mercator Media.
“Mercator Media has been running Seawork since 1998 and during that time, the Seawork team has worked closely with exhibitors and visitors to deliver a unique on-shore and on-water trade exhibition.
“We can’t move the tides but we can facilitate business by making sure we have the best dates possible for our partners for 2018 and our 21st year.”
Seawork International comprises an exhibition, a conference, an Innovation Showcase and the European Commercial Marine Awards and attracts more than 7,600 industry professionals, 10,500 products and services, together with more than 70 vessels.
Visitor registration for Seawork International and nominations for the European Commercial Marine Awards will open in March 2018.
The 21st anniversary edition of the exhibition will take place from July 3 to 5 2018 in Mayflower Park, Southampton.
The 2019 edition of Seawork International will take place June 11 to 13.
