Airtronic 2 offers brushless motor
Eberspächer’s new Airtronic 2 heater is designed for longer service life due to a brushless motor, alongside quiet heating and optimised burner operation.
The second generation of the Airtronic family of air heaters offers the compact Airtronic 2 D2L and the Airtronic 2 D4L, suitable to heat boats from 23 to 45ft.
The diesel fuel operated Airtronic 2 has a brushless motor, designed to last more than 5,000 hours.
The Airtronic 2 model is quieter than previous models, with variable heat output. The new metering pump has also been noise-optimised so that the 'ticking' when pumping fuel is a thing of the past.
Launched alongside the new Airtronic is the EasyStart Pro, designed to make controlling the heater simple, convenient and intuitive to control.
Using the timer function, the desired start time and heating duration can be pre-set. The integrated temperature sensor enables the temperature to be regulated. The display and a multi-coloured LED ring around the operating button continuously indicate whether heating or ventilation mode is currently active.
Eberspächer heaters can also be controlled using EasyStart Web, which offers users the flexibility to switch on a heater from a mobile device and pre-heat their boat prior to arrival.
Eberspächer will be on stand J402 at TheYachtMarket.com Southampton Boat Show.
