Ferretti and Wally launch restyled tender
Italian shipbuilder, the Ferretti Group and Monaco-based yacht designer, Wally, have celebrated their recent partnership with the launch of a restyled Wallytender.
The 48 Wallytender is the first combined project since Ferretti announced its exclusive licence agreement of the Wally brand which will see the Italian company invest more than €84m over the next four years.
Wally founder Luca Bassani will continue to design and develop Wally's yachts which will be built at the Ferretti Group shipyards, including its super yacht yard in Ancona, Italy.
The redesigned tender has new amenities and features, including a fold-down bulwark which increases the size of the swim platform. A larger interior volume allows for a real shower cubicle whilst the galley is equipped with two cooking rinks, sink and two fridges.
The entire aft sunbed can be raised to access the engine compartment or just the top section revealing storage space underneath. The optional gyroscopic stabiliser is housed in a separate technical compartment which also houses the electrical switchboards.
The first 48 Wallytender is currently under construction at the group's site in Forlì, Italy and will be ready in time for summer.
