Pro Installer gives greater flexibility and saves space
Onboard power demands continue to increase as boaters request the comforts of home on their boats.
To make it easier for electrical installers to provide these extra demands, Marinco and BEP have made ‘significant improvements’ to the design and construction of products that are commonly used.
“The Pro Installer range is a new style of fitting that saves installers an enormous amount of time,” said Giles Weston, MD of BEP’s UK distributor Furneaux Riddall.
“BEP has designed a product that not only saves valuable space onboard but also gives boatbuilders and installers greater flexibility when designing their power systems.”
The Pro Installer modular assemblies are designed for fast, flexible installation in tight spaces.
A common interconnection height enables solid link bars to connect multiple Pro Installer products.
“This makes it extremely easy for installers to cluster products and reduce their mounting footprint,” explained Mr Weston.
“In addition, the products are designed for a marine environment. They’re very sturdy and durable.”
A fibre-reinforced base material provides strength and chemical resistance and all studs, washers and nuts are made from stainless steel.
