Actisense comes of age
Actisense has celebrated its 21st birthday with ‘exceptional’ growth and new developments.
The company was founded by CEO Phil Whitehurst as a consultancy, developing its first branded products in 2001.
The company now works with more than 70 distributors in 45 countries, from Norway to New Zealand, Canada to Korea and all of mainland Europe.
"Celebrating our 21st Birthday, we can look back over exceptional growth, multiple award wins and new product developments,” said Phil. “Looking ahead we will be focusing on increasing our presence in the commercial marine market and in new areas such as the automotive, transportation and agricultural sectors.”
He added: “Working closely with professional industry bodies, we will also be helping to mould global NMEA standards from NMEA 0183, through to NMEA 2000 and the new NMEA OneNet standard."
