Glass Bridge display has ultra-fast response
Simrad has released the NSO EVO3S Glass Bridge display featuring the new iMX 8 integrated six-core processor to deliver ultra-fast response times.
With up to twice the CPU performance, page loading times have been halved, meaning information can be accessed regardless of conditions, said Simrad, part of Navico. The increase in power means the NSO EVO3S can multitask extremely well. Even splitting the screen six ways shows no drop in performance, added Simrad.
“It is always our ambition to deliver the next level of product excellence and efficiency to our customers,” commented Knut Frostad, CEO of Navico Group. “With the new SIMRAD NSO EVO3S we are doing just that, giving any skipper an unprecedented level of built-in functionality and easy to use hardware.”
Bridge layouts can be customised to suit any activity and users can switch seamlessly between layouts. Low-profile glass bridge styling conceals and protects the powerful core.
Navico brand B&G has launched the Zeus3S Glass Helm multifunction display system, also with the new iMX 8 integrated six-core processor, to deliver twice the previous versions performance.
Users can create their own custom helm layouts and switch between layouts, with the added benefit of full high definition displays designed for larger sailing yachts.
The ZC2 Remote Controller provides keypad control of up to six displays. Wide viewing angles also keep the screen visible, even with polarised sunglasses.
There is a full suite of sailing features, including Sailsteer, PredictWind, RacePanel, LayLines and SailingTime.
