Torqeedo has a range of new products available in 2019.

The company has a new Deep Blue lithium-ion battery with an increased capacity of 30% and energy density of 144Wh/kg. Charging to 75% capacity takes 1.5 hours if shore power is adequate.

Additionally the 24-volt battery from the Power series will receive a capacity upgrade, a technical update and a new name for 2019. Weighing 23.5kg, the Power 24-3500 is designed for Cruise motors or hotel loads and can store more than 30% more power than the previous 24-volt model.

Outboard motors

The Travel 1103 C is a new 1,100W outboard motor for dinghies, tenders and sailboats and is suitable for boats up to 1,500kg.

Weighing 17kg, the outboard comes with a 915Wh battery, a stronger aluminium pylon with integrated skeg said to give increased protection from impact damage and an upgraded transom mount.

Torqeedo is also launching two new Deep Blue 100kW inboard motor systems, the Deep Blue 100i 2400 and the larger Deep Blue 100i 900.
