Taylor’s heaters offer sailing comfort
Taylor’s paraffin and diesel heaters enable sailors to enjoy their time on the water, whatever the weather.
The 079k paraffin (kerosene) heater is fuelled from its own pump pressurised supply tank. It is supplied with 1.5-gallon tank, a safety on/off fuel control valve, in-line fuel filter, pipe work and fittings for installation.
“Accessed from the front opening door, the burner is self-cleaning and self pricking and like all Taylor’s burners extremely reliable,” said Dan Henderson, Sea Sure sales manager, which manufactures Taylor’s products.
“This model provides a dry heat thus reducing condensation.”
Externally vented and bulkhead mounted, the paraffin heater is also supplied with through-deck fitting flue sections and available with a stainless steel or brass front.
Taylor’s O79D diesel heater, also available in brass or stainless steel, is fuelled by generally available diesel, either from its own gravity tank (header tank version) or pumped direct from the boat’s supply (main fuel tank version).
“The main fuel tank version diesel cabin heater requires an electric supply which only uses 0.25Ah per day,” added Dan.
