Customers want greater colour choice
Developments in AkzoNobel’s Awlgrip range are shaped by a desire to help customers achieve the ultimate yacht finish, through aesthetic advancements and more efficient application.
Some of the latest products in the range include Awlcraft SE, an advanced topcoat system that meets the demand for custom colours and Awlgrip HDT Clear, that complements Awlcraft SE with a mirror-like clear coat.
“We are seeing two significant trends in the way yachts are painted right now.
“More than ever, our customers are focused on high quality products that provide long-lasting protection and there is also an increased demand for custom colours,” explained Hans Slegtenhorst, AkzoNobel yacht segment manager.
“Customers want to create a unique appearance for their boat which matches their personality, which is something our mixitcloud digital colour system caters for, with 18,000+ colours in the Awlcraft SE line.”
A new Awlgrip website - www.awlgrip.com - has been designed to make it easier to find coatings solutions while showing the results that can be achieved.
