New flare range from Seago Yachting
Seago Yachting is to introduce a range of its own brand pyrotechnic flares in March, a move designed to go hand in hand with the company’s liferaft servicing.
The signal flares will be sold in packs and will consist of red hand flares, orange hand flares, buoyant smoke, parachute rockets and a white collision flare, plus a full range of other pyrotechnics.
The move adds to Seago Yachting’s safety portfolio that includes SOLAS approved liferafts and an MCA approved service station.
“In order to service SOLAS liferafts, we have to be MCA approved,” explained Seago’s Kieron Sullivan.
“We’re reaching out to the commercial and the fishing market to supply them with SOLAS approved liferafts. The MCA approval means we’re able to offer a complete package from supplying a liferaft to servicing it.”
In addition, Seago is able to service all brands of lifejackets.
