Ocean Safety launches Kru Sport Pro 170N
Ocean Safety’s Kru Sport Pro 170N ADV lifejacket features a light, sprayhood and UML Pro Sensor Elite operating head.
Also available in a standard model, the ergonomic jacket has a low profile scoop neck design which sits away from the neck to increase movement and comfort.
The front zip waistcoat style enables users to put the jacket on quickly and easily, whilst the side waist adjusters ensure a secure fit. A new utility belt loop enables a handheld VHF radio to be clipped on to be close at hand.
An interlock bladder with wave barrier technology delivers superfast turning speeds and keeps the wearers’ airways free from channelled water, reducing the risk of secondary drowning.
The bladder is simple to fold after use, which means owners can confidently carry out maintenance checks during the season and easily re-pack the lifejacket afterwards. The jackets are also AIS ready so that a personal recovery system can be fitted.
Additional features include a storage pocket for a PLB and safety knife, viewing window for cylinder checks and kill cord loops.
