What could possibly go wrong?

So in the end common sense prevailed or the inmates have taken over the asylum, depending on your view. Either way, the world has certainly changed for the post-referendum UK.

For what it's worth, I believe that in the end it will be the best thing for Britain, and force us to pick our heads up and do what we are good at: getting out into the big wide world.

While the ruling class run around like headless chickens on speed, it appears that from a UK manufacturing perspective we could be heading for a short-to-at-least-medium term growth, due to devaluing of the good old British pound.

It’s a good job that those in our industry actually out there making it are a positive bunch. If you see any change as an opportunity, then isn't the position of product exports being a lower value is an advantage worth filling in a few more bits of paper in for?

Times are a changing and as we are by nature a dynamic problem solving bunch in marine, this is really our time to capitalise!

Surely collaboration must now be the biggest tool in our Leisure Marine tool box.

Let’s use the mini revolution in our relations with the world to start a major revolution at the heart of our industry.

Let’s get the key buyers and suppliers together now, bang heads if needed, to sort out the issues and crack on with the opportunity that we in the UK now have in front of us: making it happen for the good of the whole industry.

We need an industry leader now to make the most of the chance; to really sort the mechanics of UK Marine PLC now before it is too late to make the advantage work.
