Chemical helps develop cleaning products
C-Quip has launched a new range of eco-friendly cleaning products from SLEEK Clean Care.
The products are environmentally-friendly and PH balanced, biodegradable and not tested on animals say SLEEK founders Scott Rudd and Emma Tapper.
“People have a misconception that environmentally friendly products can’t work,” said Emma.
“Our products use ECOPOWER plant-based technology that allows us to extract the power of natural ingredients.”
Each ingredient in the range has been selected from the Environment Agencies safe chemical list to ensure aquatic life is protected with the products developed in-house from a 25-year background of chemical manufacturing experience.
“All the ingredients are biodegradable in 28 days and comply with biodegradability in seawater tests,” added Scott. “We’re trying to reduce the impact.
“Both of us are into sailing and found there was nothing on the market that worked effectively. Our products are specially designed for boats but can also be used for caravans and motorhomes, bicycles and interior products.”
The current range includes an all-purpose cleaner, upholstery, hard water, upholstery wax and bilge cleaner.
SLEEK is due to launch further new products later this year including refill pouches.
