ASAP Supplies has worked with Maestrini and assisted the manufacturer to develop a corrosion resistant anti-siphon loop.

The resulting DZR anti-siphon loops are made from a corrosive resistant brass body with a rubber check ball, designed to give users peace of mind for systems that are installed below the waterline and in contact with saltwater.

“An anti-siphon unit is an extremely important part of a plumbing system,” explained Rhiannon Read, marketing and customer support for ASAP. “Their use is recommended in installations such as ‘below the waterline’ applications of engines with wet exhausts, toilet systems and pumping systems to name but a few.”

The product allows water to flow only one way in the intended direction; should the flow reverse, the vacuum created will operate the anti-siphon valve allowing air to enter the line, breaking the siphoning effect.

The loops can be bought as a complete kit or individual components, allowing users to custom make to individual requirements.

Once assembled, the kit provides an anti-siphon device to suit 19, 25 and 32mm hose lines, all with a 10mm vent hose.
