New motors are available from Oceanair
The latest development from Oceanair is its motor range that are stronger and quieter than previously used standard motors.
The new development is suitable for almost every Oceanair blind with all meeting EU child safe regulations.
“New technology used in the motors includes a sophisticated ‘localiser’ that counts its own revolutions,” explained Mark Gibson Oceanair’s engineering manager.
“This means the motor knows exactly where the blind is - whether its fully open, closed or half way down - at all times.
“When the radio receiver is instructed to go up or down, the blind is positioned accurately.
“The localiser allows the motor to stop rather than stall at the top or bottom reducing strain on the motor.”
The new motors are available with Oceanair’s accessory options including hand held remotes and wall switches that can control and operate up to 100 blinds on one channel.
An entry level Atlantic range is designed to make the jump from manual to powered blinds much easier with the motors requiring no additional head rail space.
“Oceanair recognised the desire for motorised blinds amongst customers of smaller boats and fulfilled this with the introduction of a 12V option,” added sales and marketing director Ian Howarth.
The company’s Pacific range of motors provide higher lift torque at quieter sound levels, making the range suitable for the larger blinds used in superyachts.
The range offers both DC and AC powering options.
