Supply and service is foremost for Quick
Working in close collaboration with customers is just one area where Quick believes it adds value.
The Italian manufacturer of nautical equipment designs and manufactures lighting solutions using the latest styles alongside advancing technology, explained Andrew Sims, Quick UK MD.
“Manufacturing in house enables us to control the whole production process, maintaining product quality,” he said. “Supply and service is always foremost.”
The lighting range covers downlighters, courtesy, wall, reading, retractable, underwater lighting and controllers.
“While we have an unprecedented range of lighting, to meet market demands we have always worked closely with our customers who we view as partners,” said Andrew.
“This involves developing full lighting plans in liaison with the builders’ interiors team or external designer and if required, customising fixtures. Where necessary we will develop new product lines to solve a request.”
And Andrew added that the lighting market in the UK is changing, moving away from a price sensitive issue, to instead become a key, technical part of an interior finish.
“For instance, LED recessed anti-glare fixtures that give a much more designed effect are becoming popular." he said.
“These are now developed as our Palladio range, which we continue to add to at a pace.”
Alongside its anti-glare lights, Quick has also developed a ‘Dynamic White’ lighting system, that provides a tuneable light at a budget level.
Andrew added: “The ability to control the light’s colour temperature from say warm to daylight white has transformed the effects that can be created, giving an interior designer much more scope.
“When combining this with products such as our flexible ONDALED strip, a lighting system can change the atmosphere on board without breaking the budget.”
