EXHIBITION: The Make it in Great Britain exhibition has opened at the Science Museum in London, marking the culmination of the government’s Make it in Great Britain campaign.

The exhibition features a variety of displays from all walks of British manufacturing, including Sunseeker and Topper, the two joining initiative supporter Pendennis Shipyards and the marine industry ambassadors.

Among the ambassadors were Rob Kemp of Kemp Sails, Andy Sims of Cooney Marine and Nigel Stuart of Discovery Yachts.

The business secretary Vince Cable joined business minister Mark Prisk to launch the exhibition, which will run until 9 October. The exhibition shows young people the rewarding career opportunities available in British manufacturing.
