Marinco appoints Marathon
Marine electrical manufacturer Marinco has appointed Marathon Leisure as a distributor in the UK and Ireland for its complete range of products.
Marinco, part of the global group Power Products, designs and manufactures power inlets and cords.
In addition to shore power, Marinco offers a range of marine wipers, spotlights and horns to the marine industry.
“We are pleased to have been chosen to represent Marinco and believe their professional range of products provide something for both our OEM and aftermarket customers,” said Tim Millinder, Marathon Leisure MD. “Marinco has a fantastic range and reputation and we are pleased to work with them and to be part of their future growth.”
In addition, Seattle based SmartPlug Systems has appointed Marathon as sole distributor for the UK.
SmartPlug manufactures a range of stainless steel and non-metallic shore power inlets and connectors that are available in both 16amp and 32amp variants.
“The appointment of Marathon Leisure greatly strengthens our presence in the UK and Ireland and we are very confident that with their proactive marketing and dedicated sales team, SmartPlug will get the exposure it needs to ensure a wider market is aware of this innovative product range,” said Tony Barber, SmartPlug CEO.
Tim added: “SmartPlug’s technically advanced shore power products set a new standard in design, safety and ease of use in comparison to other shore power products on the market.”
