Multi-million investment from Dream Yacht Charter
Dream Yacht Charter is to invest £130m in its fleet during 2019/2020.
The company has increased its fleet by 228 yachts in 2019, with 59 due for delivery in Q4 alone including 44 destined for the company’s Caribbean and Nassau bases.
The company has committed to 195 yachts for delivery in 2020, of which 112 yachts will be delivered in the first half of the year.
The Mediterranean will benefit from an additional 83 yachts in the first six months of 2020, 25 of which will be Sun Loft 47s.
The new Caribbean fleet includes five Jeanneau Sun Loft 47 yachts, aimed at attracting a younger customer to sailing holidays.
“The investment made in Dream Yacht Charter’s fleet in 2019/2020 is worth £130m,” said Loïc Bonnet, founder and CEO of Dream Yacht Charter.
“The Caribbean and Mediterranean remain key areas to our growth and we have significantly increased our fleets in the regions.”
And he said exotic locations are important with additions to the company’s fleets in Asia, the Indian Ocean and the Pacific.
The company has also added seven new destinations across Europe and the US east coast for bareboat and skippered charter customers.
The latest additions means Dream Yacht Charter now offers sailing holidays from 64 bases worldwide.
A large proportion of the boats are equipped with watermakers, gensets and air-conditioning to make sailing holidays as comfortable as possible.
