Pearson Hydraulics expands and diversifies
Pearson Hydraulics has acquired P & R Hydraulics to expand its product range and services and diversify its skillset.
The acquisition of P & R Hydraulics, headed up by technical director Justin Gill, will strengthen the new Pearson Hydraulics team to more than 45 employees.
Paul Rushby, sales director of Pearson Hydraulics, said: “We welcome Justin Gill and all the P & R employees and look forward to working with them and all their existing customers for many years to come.”
Pearson Hydraulics’ capabilities range from a single component to complete turnkey packages, plus tailored solutions for all industries and applications from concept to completion. It also offers engineered products and solutions using 3D CAD software, manufactured and tested in-house using its intelligent electronic control systems integrating Danfoss Plus +1 compliant products and customised software programs written its team of engineers.
Paul and Rick Dring, MD, helped Pearson Hydraulics achieve Danfoss Power Solutions Tier 1 status in 2012 and the company is now the largest Danfoss distributor in the UK.
Established in Lincoln in 1964, BFPDA member Pearson Hydraulics said it is committed to a successful future with its suppliers Danfoss, Intertraco, Turolla, OMT and new business partners R & G Acquisitions.
Pearson Hydraulics supplies many industrial sectors including agriculture, marine, offshore, aerospace, construction, rail and the general hydraulics trade.
