Record turnover for Tecsew
Boat canopy company Tecsew has achieved a record turnover for April 2019, with figures also showing a 26% increase so far in 2019 compared to the same period in 2018.
Directors John and Ally Bland believe several factors have contributed to the increase, including John’s participation in the Goldman Sachs 10k Small Business Programme that has helped them develop with new ideas and increase market presence.
“The GS 10KSB has injected fresh knowledge into the company, including more staff recruitment efficiency and productivity, along with a ‘greener’ approach to waste management,” he said.
“Tecsew uses superior performance marine canvas with extended lifespan to create products and our CNC manufacturing method has helped us cut unnecessary waste.
“Together, this results in us producing highly sustainable products for our customers whilst keeping us ahead of our competitors.”
The company says its new website has also brought in more work from abroad, with self-fit items being dispatched to several countries including, Finland, Greece, Germany, France, Estonia, Italy and Spain.
