New fabric range from Aqua Furnishings
A new range of fabrics inspired by canals and inland waterways, featuring narrowboats, locks, bridges, wildlife and the changing seasons is being launched by Aqua Furnishings at Crick Boat Show 2019.
The Aqua by Design Canal Collection complements Aqua Furnishings’ nautical fabrics with yachts, lighthouses and boating wheels designs.
The company will also show its cushions, fabric ranges and choice of finishes alongside its curtains, roman blinds and box cushions for dinette and saloon seating areas.
Aqua Furnishings uses fabrics designed for the marine environment for its made to order soft furnishings.
These include curtains and blinds that stay flush to sloping walls, box seating cushions that are soil and stain resistant, outdoor cushions in water resistant or water proof fabric and made to measure mattresses with Freshtec toppings that allow air to circulate keeping users cool.
“Our Venetian blinds with side guidewires are particularly popular on inland waterways boats, as the blind stays neatly in place,” explained sales manager Alex Hudson-Oldroyd.
A range of 100% organic cotton homeware accessories and ‘zero waste’ gifts made from fabric that would otherwise have gone to waste, will also be on show.
