Berthon appoints Jim
Jim Catterall has joined Berthon as electronics manager responsible for the company’s marine electrical and electronics work.
Jim has worked in the marine industry for more than 20 years, specialising in marine electrics and electronics, designing complete re-wires to complex troubleshooting.
In 2007, Jim started his own marine electrical company in Trinidad and built a large client base looking after onboard electrical and electronic systems, moving the business to Tortola BVI in 2016.
On returning to the UK after Hurricane Irma, Jim secured a job at Raymarine becoming a product manager, but after a year concluded that the corporate life was not for him and that he wanted to get back to what he enjoys the most, working on yachts with owners.
