NeptuLink delivers low-latency internet access
NeptuLink offers connectivity solutions for yachts, luxury vessels and offshore race boats delivering low-latency internet access up to 100Mbps.
Designed and engineered to be sturdy and attractive, NeptuLink operates by picking up a 4G or 3G/GPRS signal and converting it into an onboard network. This provides optimal signal reception by allowing for radio wave propagation traits over the sea while compensating for the rolling and pitching motions a superyacht routinely experiences on any voyage.
NeptuLink enables fast and highly reliable data and voice connection up to 20NM offshore, so users can upload photos and video to social media and stream films or TV.
Fast and reliable internet access is used for vessels’ safety and operational uses. Neptulink has been the connectivity solution partner for yacht races including La Solitaire Bompard Le Figaro and La Solitaire Urgo Le Figaro.
In harbour NeptuLink’s Smart Network Switch changes from 4G to onshore wi-fi, enabling users to economize on 4G data usage. Switching from VSAT to lower-latency connectivity ensures owners, guests and crew to experience the best available internet access no matter where the vessel is sailing.
