SailForce Announce Their Upcoming 2018 Regional Trade Events
Hosting four regional trade shows over seven days and covering nearly 1,400 miles is not for the feint hearted, but once again SailForce suppliers will be taking to the road to mark the start of the 2018 season.
Starting in Ipswich and with stopovers in Southampton and Plymouth, the 2018 SailForce Regional Trade Events will end in Glasgow on Tuesday 20th March 2018.
This year’s show follows a hugely successful 2017, where reported attendance was up by 27%, a record in the events’ 14-year history and with a greater mix of marine businesses than ever before.
Sales Director Martin Humby reflects, ‘We learned very quickly that by putting in a bit of effort and bringing the events as close to our customers as possible we make even a short visit possible at this busy time of year’
SailForce stage the event each year to allow customers a last-minute opportunity to view new products introduced over the winter and to enjoy some great deals on over 80 brands, just ahead of the peak season.
‘It’s a great opportunity for our customers to spend time not only with all of our principal suppliers, but also key representatives from the distributed brands, many of whom travel from across Europe and the United States’ Humby says. ‘Access to such a wealth information is invaluable in preparing for the demands of the next few months and we greatly appreciate the efforts made by all of our partners, in particular our customers who continue to support us in such numbers. We wish them every success for the 2018 season’.
SailForce will also be promoting their highly regarded Merchandising Service introduced last year and will be on hand to discuss how they can help support retailers throughout the coming season. Merchandising Manager Tim Jefferson will be available to discuss the very latest point of sale options as well as any larger scale remodeling plans where SailForce can lend a hand in support of their brands.
This year’s Trade Events, brought in association with Boating Business, will be taking place at four great locations:
The Royal Harwich Yacht Club Ipswich – Tues 13th March
Royal Southern Yacht Club Southampton - Wed 14th March
Royal Western Yacht Club Plymouth – Thurs 15th March
